Foreign Soils Training

Mobilizing Military Wives to Reach the Unreached

We believe every Christian woman has a divine calling to spread the good news of Jesus (see Psalm 68:11, Matthew 28:7,18-20, Deuteronomy 6:6-9). The mission of Foreign Soils is for military wives to Go where God has sent them, to Connect with the unreached there, and to Multiply. In general, military wives are GREAT at connecting. Foreign Soils Training will empower them to multiply – to make disciples who will make disciples – especially across cultures.

The 8 sessions cover:

“…a tremendously helpful

“Today was SO FUN”

~ ‘23 Participant

“As a military spouse who was somewhat intimidated by the idea of living abroad, Foreign Soils helped change my perspective from one of fear and introspection upward, to ask ‘What is God’s plan for our family while we are abroad?
How can God use me for His glory while we are overseas?’”

This is a lifestyle!

We don’t want this training to be a one-time event that women look back on fondly.

We want to consistently see military wives boldly proclaiming and sensitively sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with their friends, family, and neighbors and especially with those who have never once heard the truth about Jesus.

Before

the training

We encourage women to do a missional Bible study such as:

After

the training

We encourage groups to keep each other accountable in living out the principles week to week.

We realize churches and women’s groups already have established studies & proceedings, we simply ask that you include missional accountability to your groups. One way to do this is by asking questions like:

  • How have you been missional this week? (If not, what were the barriers?)

  • What is the next step God is calling you to take?

What is Foreign Soils?

We want to see Jesus made known and glorified among every people group; our vision is to see that happen through military wives. Foreign Soils has been mobilizing and equipping US military wives since 2020. We now have women around the world stepping out in faith and purpose to love the lost around them!

Who are the trainers?

Seminar facilitators include military wives who have completed Foreign Soils training themselves and Hope (one of Foreign Soils’ founders). The desire of Foreign Soils is that our training would be simple and reproducible enough that those who receive the training would take it and run!
